Braden Tidball
I'm a CPA born and raised in Edmonton, and I've spent my career working with Canadian small businesses and owner-managed
After earning my Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Alberta, I got my start at a local boutique firm in Edmonton before moving to PricewaterhouseCoopers, where I spent four years as a Senior Associate auditing public and large private companies. The experience was valuable and the work was rigorous, but what I kept coming back to was the part of this job I actually love: the relationships. Sitting across from a business owner, understanding their situation, and helping them make better decisions. That’s what brought me back to the small business world.
At Oviatt Accounting, I work with clients on corporate tax compliance, year-end file preparation, bookkeeping, CRA correspondence, and planning that actually moves things forward. The clients I work best with are ones who want more than a number-cruncher. They want someone who understands their business, speaks plainly, and is in their corner when it matters.

Outside of work I’m with my wife and two kids. In the summer I’m on the golf course and in the winter I’m playing men’s league hockey.
